The need for a Global education platform on this subject has been felt for a very long time. Dr. S. N. Basu took the initiative and formally conceptualized the platform and this annual international event for the benefit of doctors around the Globe. The first COMMUNICON was held in New Delhi in March 2018. It was a a great success and since then, has been an awaited event every year in the doctors’ community.

Since long, Dr. S N Basu felt the need for a professional training of the doctors’ community on the communication front. It was important for her to help find a way to offer these strong, talented doctors a stage for their professional communication development and empowerment, without their having to go out of the country.

It became stronger and became her dream to build a communication empowerment platform that was global in nature, but still easily accessible to any doctor in India. A platform for the doctors, where they would discuss their concerns and share the experiences covering various aspects of the subject.

Today, she feels privileged to host COMMUNICON, an event that has consistently been organized annually and successfully attended by hundreds of doctors and speakers from India and abroad.

COMMUNICON’s success will be seeing greater number of happy, satisfied participants year after year.
